Hi from the East coast of Africa

It's amazing how ones life swings around in such a short time. Hi, I'm Chrissy, a Granny and very new to sailing having recently got my skippers, bought a 40ft Lavranos Crossbow and now enjoy every moment I can out on the ocean. Very busy learning...and it's marvellous! Of course, the intention is to visit my four Grandchildren who are all over the world (by boat of course) and fill a lifetime dream whilst living adventurously. I'll be doing this with my hubby and Skipper Alan who is putting me through some tough stuff (like when we did our tech diving) and learning such fantastic things ....cant wait for the weekend.....

That's great. It's all supposed to be fun. Too many people think learning new things is hard and not fun.

Welcome,

There is a wonderful book about a family leaving S.A. in a trimaran. They took granny with them, and sailed for Australia. Hopefully someone will remember the name, and post it......BEST WISHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
