Well i recently helped my grandfather acquire a 95 Mac Gregor and have realized the potential of me moving from the mountains to the sea. Having trouble finding good boat choices. Was brought up as a kid going out to the boat every weekend and family has always had atleast one saltwater boat so im not totally new but need advice thought maybe here could be the place. Anyway looking to Liveaboard. I like cruisers. power, sailor and motor sailors all fit. Power Boat Wise i really like the 1989 32' Carver Aft Cabin any more good cruiser boats like this? having trouble finding good layouts in a sail or motorsailer boats(too bad catamarans seem to be out of price range becuase they have awesome layouts : / ). I would need room for 2 extra people with one separated room. i would like to be able to travel at decent speeds and to blue water. open to all opinions and advice for moving to the sea and what boat work best with familys.

A good place to start your search is right at your computer. Search all the boats for sale on boats for sale sites. Get a good look at boats in your price range. They will most likely have multiple pictures, so you can get a feel for the boat itself. No one person can advise you on which boat to choose.
