Hello - Tayana 37
Recently purchased a Tayana 37 based in Bahamas and plan extensive sailing in the Caribbean. Single handing but who knows. Hope to meet cruisers and share experiences. Lou

Welcome to the Forum, Lou. Would you be the person who purchased s/v Lokadune from member CruiseAbaco after reading his Classified Ad here at Cruisers Forum?
Congratulations on your new (to you) vessel. Keep us posted (pictures are nice) as you voyage throughout the Caribbean. Again, welcome.

I haven't spent much time in the Abacos. I do know you're starting in a great place, and the Tayana a solid boat. BEST WISHES in her serving you well, and enjoying the BEAUTIFUL BAHAMAS.......i2f

Aloha Loo65...Great boat. I have some friends with the pilothouse version out cruising on theirs right now.

Wow, that boat was a steal! I was considering her myself, except that I'm based on the west coast. :-)
I ended up going cheap and got an old Cal 34 for about 1/3 the price. :-)
Good luck, nice boat!

Hi Lou,
I am late in entering this thread, but if you're still around -- I own a Tayana 37 on the Chesapeake.

Thanks for the reply. I spent a little time around White Rocks Marina last summer.
