Hello folks,

Am a UK expat living out in Spain and brought my boat down here last year.

Conditions in the Med near Barcelona where I now live are a whole lot kinder than those off the Welsh coast where I used to berth and am now looking for the summer season to start any time soon.

Try and get out on the boat most weekends for a spin and try my hand at some fishing.

Sounds like you piked a nice spot. I spend some time in Rosas and Ampuriabrava many moons ago. I bet things have changed down there.

As I sit here looking at the blazing sun, recalling grey dismal (Winter) days when I've had to overnight in Barcelona, I don't envy you. But when I think of the lovely bars you guys have on the beach, then I feel a slight jealousy welling up....
