HELLO 2 ALL

We are Melanie, and John from N.E Florida for now. Mel is originally from the Philippines, and I am originally from Oakland Ca. Mel is a bit new to sailing, and I have been off, and on other peoples boats since 76. I have been a boat owner since 90. My first boat being a 30ft. Columbia that I only recently sold. My current boat I have owned since 02.

After our marriage in 03 we flew to St. Maarten from the Bay Area to board Imagine. Imagine is a German built cold molded catamaran based on a Simpson 13.7 design.

Since then we have spent 4 seasons sailing the east side of Florida from Jacksonville to Key West, and covered most of the Bahamas from Abaco to Crooked Island.

We are gearing up to sail for the Philippines in several years, and make many stops between. Our plan is to explore the Philippines with Imagine, and live life as well as we can. Looking for to share information with all that are here.

I am on another forum for cars, my second passion, and I will use someone's quote from there. No one of us is as smart as all of us.....John

Thanks all for the welcome. I am here to learn, and share what little knowledge I have. For the past several days I have not been able to login, but already have soaked up so much information. Looking forward to being a sponge here.....LOLOLOL
