Hello,
I'm Claudio, specializing in historical research on Spanish galleons with all accessories like treasure, pirates, approaches, sailing, naval battles, etc..
I'm the author of the book Galleons and sunken treasure, who has recently been published in English (first in Spanish, Italian and we are now preparing the French and German versions).
Here I am available to share my knowledge with you about the many enchanting destinations world of galleons laden with treasure.

I suggest, for light relief, you try the Captain Aubrey books by Patrick O'Brien.
They are based on substantial research into the ships, men and navies of the 1800's and build a fair account of the missions that the naval ships were sent on.
I also read recently a largely fictitious account of the Darwin Voyage written around the skipper of his ship, Captain Fitzroy, who established the UK Weather Forecasting Service. I don't have the name of the book or Author but Google may help .
The forecast area Fitzroy (above Trafalgar) is named for him, the only zone dedicated to a real person.
