Brand New to Sailing

So new, in fact, that I've never sailed before, but it's something I want to learn, so I hope that I will be able to learn as much as I can from this community. Google, youtube, and Kindle Unlimited have certainly helped me learn much of what I can here on land.

As for me, I'm currently in the process of moving to Port St Lucie, Fl with my wife and 5 kids (yes, it's just as crazy as it sounds), to be nearer to family, and, of course, the ocean. There aren't too many opportunities here in Fayetteville, NC.

Welcome aboard. Five kids, huh? Maybe the eldest would like to have a dinghy to sail after you figure out how to do it? Bear in mind, I have seen 3 yr old Solomon Islander kids out in their own tiny canoes, quite adept at handling them, too.
