Bonjour d'Ontario

Ahoy!

We are a sailing family of 4 + a portuguese water dog called Electra (a real sailor, true to her heritage too). We have been sailing for over 25 years on the Golf of St Lawrence, through the lakes of Quebec, and on the Great Lakes.

We recently switched boat for bigger space and speed, regretfully leaving our "old reliable" 1965 Grampian Classic 31 on the shore for the first time since her creation (she was my father in law beloved boat).

We are looking forward to be part of a greater cruising community, and to learn much from those who come before us, while we nurture our skills and dreams of sailing away in fairer waters to escape the frigid North.

God speed and fair winds to all.

S., C., M. & E. + Electra

G'Day guys,

And welcome.
Does the dog actually bark in Portuguese, or does he have a Canadian accent?

More seriously - good to have you aboard.

JOHN

Aloha Stef and Carol,
Welcome aboard! I'd like to see that part of North America someday. I've been to every state in the U. S. but never seen Niagra or eastern Canada.
Kind regards,
JohnL

Bonjour et bienvenue.

Sorry for the spelling. I'm the guy who tries to order a meal in Montreal in French and the waiter always replies in English. E for Effort.

I hope to see you out on the lakes this summer!

A la prochaine.
