Been a Great Voyage

Wife and I have lived aboard a steel 68’ trawler “Delusions” for 14 years, starting in San Francisco Bay. It’s taken that long to reach MA via the Panama Canal on our grand sightseeing tour. Amazing places and people, full of adventure and the unexpected. Awaiting the thaw to continue north to Maine, Canada and next season the Great Lakes. Stopped keeping strict schedules years ago because weather, repairs and fun messed with plans. Began with knowing little more than where the gas pedal was and on such a large yacht that was not easy to find. From hurricanes, muggings and narrowly escapes from third-world countries to wonderful scuba diving, volcano climbing, and Amazon jungle exploration, it has been a fabulous life of challenges and adventure.

Re: Been a Great Voyage

Hi, there roddymac,

Good to have you aboard, and sounds like you've accumulated some good stories. Any good bush repair stories? There's a thread about "Macgyvering" and awful repairs going on here, and I think it's super!

Ann
