Aloha from Oahu

Aloha all. First boat and first major voyage! We bought Tide Roller, a 1983 Catalina 36 sloop, on November 28th of last year. We spent about 3 weeks in dry dock and trucked her to Sausalito, CA. From there we sailed to Hawaii on December 30th having landfall in Maui on January 17th. It was rough and lots went wrong but that's expected. We are recovering and living aboard for the next 3 years. Any and all advice is welcomed. Soon converting to LP from CNG if anyone knows about that, but I am going to read the treads out there already posted. Thanks for reading.

-B

Re: Aloha from Oahu

Congratulations on your success and welcome!
I know that LPG and CNG should have different jets in the associated devices. I also know that they will still run, although not optimally, on the wrong jets so your jets and/or appliances may or may not have been changed.

We only froze for 3-5 days but it wasn't even that bad coming from CA. Win and seas were strong but mostly from behind.
