Ahoy there mates

Hello, am new to this forum but an 'experienced' sailor. Have owned and tried to keep afloat my '78 Columbia 8.7 for the past 20 years or so. Sail the Gulf Coast from New Orleans to Pensacola.... so far. Have owned other boats but none that suited me so well as this old girl. She keeps me honest.

Aloha and Welcome aboard!!
Good to see some other old glass boat owners and interested in keeping them alive. I'm still resuscitating my old girl but just the other day got her heart pumping again (engine start and then install). She was first launched in October 70.
Kind Regards,
JohnL

Welcome, nice to see someone else with a "normal" sized boat!

Thanks for the welcomes, sometimes feel like a lonely duck in a big pond... others (lubbers) have thought me mad for a long long time.
