Aye, since lower brain-function is also tied to poor taste in vessels....

Is that some sort of confession?

Aye, good try again mate.

You are probably trying to make a point about the lower part of the brain has the higher function or some such twist to the truth.

Honestly, don't be ashamed of being gay. Don't try to twist the truth or argue the obvious:

We still like you. It is okay..

How did this topic end up talking about sailing and sailboats?

I hate it when sailing forums do that - LOL.

Getting back to "topic." Me and a buddy always had a fantasy of starting a poodle ranch here in Asia to provide a sustainable source of dog meat. "Git along little doggies - yee haa!"

WTF do they need with killing whales?????
I seem to recall that in one instance, a tribe brought suit to be allowed to hunt whales, even though none of them had hunted whales for many years. I think it may have been as much a matter of resisting "even further intrusion on our lives by outsiders" as anything else. Their right to hunt the whales is based on the wording of the treaty that ended the war with the US. The war did not end on particularly favorable terms for the tribe, so I'm not surprised to see them try to get as much as they can out of it.

Let 'em do it in a dugout canoe with spears and wearing loincloths then.

I've got no respect for what they do with their salmon fishing either. They catch them and let them rot if they don't want them because otherwise "the white man" will get them.

Grr!!

Just be wary of any cowboy sailors named Tully Mars.

It all comes down to whether or not the specie is endangered. If it is not endangered, then it comes down to how the life is taken. It should be done in the most humane way possible. Yes, I do like whales but it is none of my business how a native tribe chooses to subsist. Their ancestors were here long before mine.
