Re: SSSSM duex

so i gather there is no more interest in single sailors seeking soulmates or whatever our lil group is called anymore-- our primary leader done gone and got hooked up and is happy , and the rest of us are just hanging in htere..... oh well... so, no mo'....????

Remember Treasure Island, when Long John Silver's band of thieves were impatient to get rid of Captain Smollett and take over the ship? What did the ruthless but practical Long John remind them?

'What I say is, when are we going to do it?' growled the coxswain impatiently.

'When! by the powers!' cried Silver. 'I'll tell you when. The last moment I can manage; and that's when. If was sure of you all, sons of double Dutchmen, I'd have Cap'n Smollett navigate us half-way back again before we struck.'

'Why, we're all seamen aboard here, I should think,' said the lad Dick.

'We're all foc's'le hands, you mean,' snapped Silver 'We can steer a course, but who's to set one?

I have alienated

I'm not sure I was asked to be a leader. Leadership is not a skill I've developed in my life. A lead pirate!?! I hope i don't have to start making Arrrr noises that I'm really not feeling, that would be too much like bad porn.
I was however asked to to look over things. And I confess I've not taken the responsibility very seriously. My apologies for alienating and abandoning all of you in the SSSM group. I promise going forward to be more diligent.
So in that effort, do any of you have suggestions for keeping an interesting and open dialog going? I'm thinking none of us should turn it into a blog about ourselves. Maybe keep banter of that sort between PM's.
Maybe share you latest dating success or failure? Experiences with online dating sites? Where do you go to meet people? How you dealt with your last breakup?
Conversations that provoke and reveal. That's what I think might help.
