Sparky has a mind of her own

From the Monterey Herald:

1. BEACHED BARGE TOWED HOME
By LAITH AGHA / Herald Staff Writer
Sparky made it home, although not without help. After breaking loose Thursday morning from its moorings next to Monterey Municipal Wharf No. 2 and ending up stranded on Monterey State Beach 200 yards to the east, the city's fireworks barge, known as Sparky, was dragged off the sand and re-anchored Sunday morning.
Wednesday, January 3, 2007 (MontereyHerald.com)

Sparky broke loose and beached again today. They have decided she has a mind of her own and just likes it better on the beach. They spent $7500 to haul her back out last time, but since they have all the equipment now, the are thinking only half the cost this time. (I'm in the wrong business)
