Hmm.. hoping that is a curling iron, and what the hell is standing up in back of the "curling iron"?? Umm... not sure I want to know.. They shopped at Walmart, apparently, but unless the two ...items... on that shelf are the issue...?? I don't know what I am supposed to be looking for..

Ah, you are so worldly and knowledgable, perhaps you would enlighten us all?

Hmmm, is that anything like a flexible damage control plug?

I keep one of those DC plugs sold by West Marine in my engine room.

I actually think it's a spray bottle.

I'm trying to figure out if the orange thing on left is some sort of sex contraption. I've seen weirder ones.

Miniature plunger. I’ve got one for my cockpit drains. But that sorta brings us back to dildo.

Not sure what the big deal would be anyway.

Reminds me of old-timey shock at seeing a flash of ankle

They'll throw in a whittling knife kit that you can use on site to create your very own homemade mast.

Re: Post the Worst "For Sale" Picture You've Seen.

That tree is amazing fun. They really wanted to reach outside the box on that sale! Of course, once you cut and limb it, haul it to wherever your vessel will be, dry the thing out sufficiently to use it, peel it, seal it, paint it, etc., it would be a heckuva lot cheaper on your mind and hands to just go and buy a mast! I give them points for creativity though!

Re: Post the Worst "For Sale" Picture You've Seen.

People restoring or building in wood from scratch these days are not overall trying to save money.

Target market for so many listings these days seems to require being a few marshmallows short of a bowl of Lucky Charms.*

Re: Post the Worst "For Sale" Picture You've Seen.

John,

I agree. I think it was just a way they were tongue in cheek advertising for someone to remove a tree. I still say they get points for clever advertising, though! I had 12 acres of trees that large or larger, and had I thought of that angle, who knows if I would have listed such an ad? Ha ha ha!!
