Need Slip Space, With A New Airport?

http://m.yahoo.com/w/legobpengine/ne...US&.lang=en-US

http://www.adn.com/2012/11/15/269379...t-no-road.html

The state of Alaska built a harbor (29 million) plus an airport (75 million), but no roads lead to them.

There are five boats in the area, none using the harbor. No water, no electricity, no phones, no roads.

Hey, if you want a quiet place to slip, this may be the most peaceful marina on the planet.

If you build it they will come.

Actually I'm not all that surprised either, it's not like a road isn't possible or planned for. They only have to go 2 miles.

What's the difference if you build a 'road to nowhere' or build the where first? You gotta start somewhere.

What do you need a road for with a Marina and an airport? Those encompass my two favorite modes of personal conveyance.

Interesting...First the bridge to nowhere, now the airport and marina to nowhere. That State seems to have issues.

Build a bar and they will come.

I think, I'll start a 4 wheeler rental or taxi shop.
