This was done better than I could ever do, by a local cop talkig to the hick sherriff in "Live and Let Die" following the chase by boat where one ended up in a car.

It was described as "one of those new fangled car-boat things"

Here's a new one:

Don't let the fire fighters see this, they'll want one. They could fly right up over the roof tps and put up the fire at the same time. They could even put a remote control on it to operate from the ground.

From the National Enquirer: Captured on film, two giants have eaten the passengers transiting on a Brittany Ferry. Read the whole story on page 12.

Bash, reminds me of that book, Wind in the Wigging.

I just looked at a "blue water cruiser" today. The ad said:

Refit complete. Finest materials. No expense spared.

Yeah! Why buy a production boat when you can get a one-off?

They owner of that Catalina 27 with all the stainless add-ons claimed to have circumnavigated twice with it. The boat was about 12 inches down on its waterline. I asked him about one of the contrivances, and he claimed it was a gun mount. Wouldn't tell me how many caliber it usually supported, but assured me it was fully automatic.

Needless to say, we left that marina in a hurry.
