Re: How Many of You Log Into this Site from a Computer ?

I use a desktop where I work. I have enough difficulty typing on a large key board since I am a self taught advanced hunt and pecker... Do oldies learn to type anymore?

I find new and especially smaller keyboards diffictult to adjust to being a creature of habit. Additionally I think the best aspect of the WWW is the interactive nature of it and so typing is key. YV is passive WWW is active.

I do read and occasionally respond to an email with my smart phone. I feel hampered by the small virtual keyboard and I am not a thumb typer either. And yes most people can't compose anything longer than a sentence or express themselves in writing. We've become a nation or illiterates who press button and twitter.

I understand that others follow face book, twitter and text and even sext... not this sailor. I got a laptop to be able to be more connected and interactive when on board... use the smart phone for a hot spot/modem. Seems to work. While I've tried to use the smart phone for web surfing, I found it terribly inefficient slow and frustrating... not bad for email though.

The WWW is getting covered with advertising. It's terribly annoying and when I am forced to sit there watching some ad... I simply don't wait for the content. Advertising is destroying minds.

rant over...

Big Ditto here...

Seriously if you aren't using Adblock or something similar then you are seeing WAY more ads than you have to.

Really!

I got a good deal on the Torch 9810. Seems comparable to what I have seen the IPhone, at least superficially.

Any, am I out of luck for a CF app?

pretty sure the new berries run the droid app.. but that's no help if you already have one.
