Hi Becky and welcome to Cruisers Forum. Sorry no one has replied yet. Sometimes there is just too much to read around here in a day - LOL.

Lot's of Florida sailors around here so someone likely knows the situation.

What kind of boat are you planning to live on?

living aboard

A 38 foot Downeastern - it is in Port Charlotte FL right now - waiting till Tropical Storm Fay passes by to call down and see if there is any damage. This is definitely nerve wracking!

We lived aboard at at small marina called Chica Marina just southwest of the old drawbridge and across Bayou Chica from Bahia Mar Marina and loved it. They only allow a couple of liveaboards. Sorry, I don't have their phone number etc.

Good luck,
Bill A.
