Just be ready to be stranded in the publix parking lot for a long time if you miss your connection.... Marathon is a good spot tho; key west can get old fast, just my opinion.

We absolutely love living in the Tavernier key largo area. While we thoroughly enjoy the allure and variety of the bars and happy hours and nightlife of KW, it at some point gets old and good friendly neighbors become more important plus we are close enough to anytime we want and still live in the keys and have incredible fishing and diving even closer within dinghy reach.

*** 20' anchorage with 6'-7' entrance
*** Circle K store
*** MM 11
*** Key West Bus Stop
*** Private property dingy dock
*** 11 miles from Duvale Street

I lived in the Miami area and went to the Keys a lot. Key Largo was always my favorite part of it, and Key West was always my least favorite part.
