Best cat for single-handing and Liveabord

Need advice from seasoned cat sailors who single hand.
Single man planning to retire and liveaboard 30'+ cat. Home port will be galveston, tx, sailing to keys and Caribbean. Model must have AC due to heat/humidity in Texas gulf coast. 30-34 feet and manageable by single sailor.
What are your thoughts on the best model to choose???????

Re: Best cat for single-handing and Liveabord

I have only been on Hobie ca day sailors, but I like the Prout Catamarans.

I also like Catalac, but finding one stateside is difficult.

Good luck.

Welcome to CF.

First, you may want to click the little triangle thingy below your avatar, and ask our friendly moderators to move your topic to the multihull forum - might help you get more replies from cat owners.

As to your question:
a) It's possible to install AC on a boat (example topic)
b) What kind of cat are you looking for? Anything around 30-34' that floats and has an AC or is there more on your need / want list? What is your budget? Do you want to order a new cat or buy a new-to-you boat? Performance or cruise? Etc. etc.
