HELP !!!

Making my dream come true. Purchasing a 40 ft sailboat in BVI the only problem is that i live in Lima Peru and cannot travel for at least three weeks to check the boat. Can anyone recommend a good surveyor, a marina where i can leave the boat until i arrive. where to get insurance. Basically i need everything.

Re: HELP !!!

Are you already the legal owner of the boat? If not, why not just leave the boat in charge of the current owner and leave it where it is.

If you already own the boat are you not concerned about purchasing a boat sight unseen? Even if you are now the owner can't you deal with the previous owner to make some kind of arrangements?

Re: HELP !!!

Don't know about a surveyor but Nanny Cay on Tortola is where most people leave boats long term.
