not to stray into the too political, but the US does need to look at its security and immigration procedures. Too many rash post 9/11 decisions taken with little thought or consultation. The result has been a back lash around the world with nations implementing stricter laws on US and other citizens , often where they didn't want to. The Schengen 90 day limit is such a result in the EU. The latest battle is over the huge amount of "advance information" the US wants for incoming air and sea passengers, again expect more backlash rules, that hit ordinary honest people.
