Has anyone chartered a sailboat on Lake Michigan?

I am considering a trip with 3-4 friends for a week near Mackinac or the Apostle Islands.

Who have you chartered with? What was your experience? Is September a reasonable time to go?

I have chartered before and am a frequent day sailor. I may or may not have had advanced coastal cruising(I know, that is a different discussion) by the time this happens.

July. Very nice cruising grounds.

I charter 2x per year in the apostle islands. Have 4 15+ years Just got back, in fact. BOTH Superior Charters & Sailboats Inc are GREAT to work with!!! Go after Labor Dat 4 the end of season disc. So much 2 do & c
