Canadian Soo locks

I am planning a trip from Georgian Bay to eastern Lake Superior and back in July - August. I will be single-handing on the upbound leg, and my concern is how to get through the locks at Sault Ste Marie. I will be using the Canadian lock. Wondering if it is possible to hire help, as in Welland canal? Or should I just wait for another boat and raft? Any other ideas? Actually if anyone is in the area and would like some entertainment on a summer afternoon, please PM
