ER ...I buy used heaters....Taylors, Force 10, Reflecks or similar.
I recondition them and sell on in Europe, and occasionally make a few bucks.

CL is the way to go. I've got one later model Force 10 propane Cozy Heater, not used, bronze top (rather than the less desirable later cast iron). Missing the iron cap that goes on top of the burner to spread the flames. Later models have it screwed on. Make a reasonable offer if interested.

Steve, would you be interested in trading a Kerosene Force Ten or Taylors kerosene for my propane Force Ten? I would imagine that in this day and age the propane would sell faster. I just dont want the extra gas plumbing. Grant. P.S. Where are you located?

Re: Taylors 079 / Force 10 Cosy Cabin wanted

Hi
Im located in Co. Offaly, Ireland.
Im not sure a trade would be practical, given the shipping costs (and import duty).
I have a complete, working Cosy cabin Kerosene unit for sale

https://www.donedeal.ie/boatextras-f...ater-/20842851

ie. heater, pressurised fuel tank, pipework and rain cap for €650.

I can offer USD300 (inc. shipping) for your propane unit, assuming u have the rain cap.

Steve

PS the gas unit does seem more practical, but there is a 'nostalgia element' to the oil unit that some people like...and they do give out a lot of heat..!

And if you are cooking with Kero then it just makes sense.

Re: Taylors 079 / Force 10 Cosy Cabin wanted

Thanks Steve. I agree that a trade would be too complicated. I actually have a propane cook stove but dont want the extra plumbing needed for the heater. The electric valve turns the cook stove off as soon as you are done, but a heater might be on for hours and any extra joints to feed two units (stove and heater) would be un-acceptable. I will figure something out. Grant.
