Spinnaker/sheets and lines/safety gear and more

My C&C 30 was damaged (rudder) in the storm to the point where the insurance company wrote it off. I donated the boat to an 80 yo former captain who lost his boat. Now he can at least have something that sails.

He didn't have any need for the following gear so I am selling it off. All gear is currently in Raleigh NC but I do get down to Morehead city NC from time to time. Best way to reach me is email. Jim (at) jimcolmanphotography.com

Some photos below. I can snap more if interested.

Men's survival suit. I've never used it but it came with the boat when I bought it. Comes with storage bag. $100

Spinnaker and bag $100

Is the spinnaker Symmetrical? If so, I'll take it.

Yes it is. It hasn't been used in years but aside from a little mildew, it's in good condition.

The survival suit is an adult universal. I guess it means that it fits pretty much anyone.

I PM'd you.

Re: Spinnaker/sheets and lines/safety gear and more

Just to clarify about the spinnaker sheets. The price is $50 per line, not the pair. Sorry for any confusion. I can't edit my original post.

One question.
My understanding was that if a boat was "totaled" by your insurance co., it belonged to the ins co. and one could NOT sell off the parts. You could "buy" it back for 10% ( or 15% ) Is my understanding wrong? does it depend on the company?

The insurance company opted not to salvage the boat so it reverted back to me
