If anyone does not know what a Monitor Windvane looks like, he should do a web search or go to Scanmar website where they have much better photos than my ability allows. I can send the serial number by PM when I am home, to any interested person.

Of course we know what a Monitor Wind Vane looks like. And the professional photographers who took the photos for Scanmar indeed did a very good job. What I am interested in, and perhaps others are as well, is what your specific Monitor Wind Vane looks like, as it is a used vane, not a new one. Both that and the serial number will be required by me, and perhaps others, to make a purchase, so please help me get to "yes". Thank you.

We communicated a week ago by PM and I already said I will send serial number when I get home. If you are really interested in this Monitor at a bargain price, you can wait a few days as agreed.

But I am not holding it for you. It goes to the first serious buyer who needs it.

I am not in a rush and I know you are traveling. Nor did I have any expectation, what so ever, that you were holding it for me. I was just reiterating what I said in my PM, that photos and the serial number were essential to me, and likely to others, interested in your Monitor.

Hi Saxon,

I had it on our Kelley-Peterson 46. It's a center cockpit cutter of 16 ton and 40' waterline. Even with the long lines to the cockpit, the Monitor has no problem. If you're interested, you probably know the Monitor's reputation and I don't need to tell you how good it is.
