For Sale: 12v 9gph Watermaker Sea Recovery Ultra Whisper 200

We are upsizing our water maker to an AC unit and would like to sell this Ultra Whisper 12v watermaker. It is a Sea Recovery Modular Unit.

Asking $3000 + shipping OBO.

It worked for us for a few months, but then product water exceeded 500ppm and we shut it down. Suspect the membrane needs to be changed. We bought the boat with this unit, it was not pickled, we pickled it, but perhaps it was too late. It needs a 3x21" membrane, avail for ~$550. We typically saw 10gph from it when it was working.

Fully automated system, fresh water flush with carbon element, when it worked, it worked great. ETD pump seems to be working well, high pressure pump and 12v motor are working well. Has dual pre-filters, and we will include new filters with sale.

Buy it and install as is, or this would be a great start for a DIY 12v watermaker.

Hi, it likely needs a new membrane, the product water is over 500ppm, so we stopped using it. But pressure was good, and pumps all ran as needed. We spent a good bit of effort and money getting it ready for the cruise: fixed a leaky gauge, changed out the solenoid bleed valve with Sea Recovery/Parker for an upgraded bleeding system that doesn't use a solenoid, new filters, etc.. We were hoping the membrane was ok, and it seemed to be for a bit, but then TDS shot up.

I am removing it from the boat, so it will not be easily tested or demonstrated.

Price is OBO - I am not sure what these should really go for.

Hi, what power is 12v motor for HPpump in unit?

This watermaker have the ETD in 2 cilinders or have a square box ? Do you repaired the ETD ? Could you send me this info as a PM?.

It is a rectangular box, I should finish removal tomorrow and plan to post more pics and info then.
