Clothing Optional Boating / Sailing in NY

Hi was wondering if there are any boating or sailing charters in NY that offer clothing optional? Man in my thirties here that has deckhanded on boats all my life but never experienced clothing optional cruising and wondered if there were any options in Ny..

In NY waters it is probably still optional but maybe nobody exercises that option!

Thanks guys! Well It aint easy in Ny and my personal boat is small so I can't... I was wondering if there were charters in NY or any others that enjoy it for some info... I work as a deck hand on a few yachts that we bring down south and up north through the intercoastal and I have seen a few sailboats and cruisers that enjoy it and its something that always sparked my interests...

Don't know about NY, but I've been surprised at the number of naked cruisers I've encountered in OR and WA. Mostly because I rarely get close enough to another boat to even see that, so when it's two or three times a year, it's a fairly high percentage.

Personally, growing up in the sticks, I've always felt it was time for a few naked days as soon as the temp hits 60F in the spring (and the poison oak is still dormant.) TMI...

I know of two or three who like to do this on their sailboats. They have the weather cloths and few ever notice. If you don't look like the statue of David, then certainly civic beautification standards strongly favour the weather cloths! Even if you do look like him, they are highly recommended if for no other reason than the number of official agencies who are looking to write tickets around here.
