Re: Not a Resident of Anywhere Buy My Boat

I have said it elsewhere on this forum many times, and maybe in this thread already, but it is not worth it to fight the bureaucracy for some idealistic reason. Make yourself look like any other schmoe on all tax forms, official documents, etc. Find and keep a street address someplace where you are considered to be "domiciled" and a "resident" for tax purposes, and use that for important stuff like social security, driver's license, boat document, etc. Don't expect to get the whole unwieldy system designed to work for 99.9% of the 350 million people here work in some special way for your unusual circumstance in life. Make yourself look like a square peg that will fit in the square hole, even if you're round.
