You guys need to broaden your fields of interest.

Or maybe it's my Thailand tag. It is the sex capital of the world.

Glad you like the avatar (although it's a bit chilly this time of year for that get up) - you're on your own with the ad preferences however

Re: Has The Cruisers Forum Sold Out?

I was getting tons of anchor advertisement. Probably the effect of the participation in some anchor threads here.
I Googled some real estate sites (interested what build is in progress in my neighbourhood) and next day each second post here contained an real estate ad. For one moment I was shocked that Saucy Sailoress is promoting some appartements not far from my house... After I realized what is going, I went to this site:
https://adblockplus.org/en/internet-explorer
There are versions for all popular browsers.
Two klicks and I have literally no single ad, even the banner on the top.
I think, that our experiences are different because of different localizations.
Here Google is really aggresive with the ads!

Happy New Year to all

Re: Has The Cruisers Forum Sold Out?

I value the information gleaned from this forum very much. Ads do appear and their financial support enables this site to exist. The ads don't bother me in the least. What does bother me is degrading comments about americans like "Americans seem to think that anything and everything is for sale".
It's called capitalism. I'm proud of it and I support it 100%

Do you really want to live in a world with unfettered capitalism. Nobody I know does.

Wrong answer , the government regulators will be around soon to your door, you will be repeatedly asked the question until you give the right answer.

Re: Has The Cruisers Forum Sold Out?

How else do you propose that the forum's owners (yes, OWNERS) finance this forum that most people use for free? A damned bake sale? Seriously, stuff a sock in your cake hole to block the whining sound!

Re: Has The Cruisers Forum Sold Out?

Wot Steve said!

I don't get all the ads you lot are responding to. Lucky me. But consider how many sites have ads you have to wait for to move on to content. I'm enjoying the free internet now cuz I suspect the marketeers will run me off like the cable tv companies have.

Eventually, some of us will have to go back to entertaining ourselves.

I often wonder if the anti-Capitalism folks have any idea where money comes from.

This is like the owner of a boat who called me a 'whore of the sea' coz I wanted paying to deliver his boat... why do folk think its some big deal to sail their boat.. its not..
Well... not until payday and head home time..
Everyone has a rice bowl to fill... only pisses me off when they want to fill it with caviar... this is just a few grains of rice..
