A simple low-buck project I knocked-out while waiting for my daughter to finish sanding the bottom paint (I have carpel tunnel and she is an absolute dear... and she loves the kayak I bought her).

Sail Delmarva: A teak Cockpit Floor for $145.00 Plus a Hour of Your Life

So far it is a success in all ways; good fit and very comfortable. Durability? I'll report back.

FWIW, yes, they did come with steel screws. It took $14 and an hour to replace them all with brass. Easy.
