All right, great organic conversation to deal with a subject that is oh so important, basic yet of no use to anyone except the cup savers/reusers (me)!

Really, if one would accidentally step on a cup in a yard in total darkness and see this, what would he or she think??

The subject is just a lowly Encore poly cup, thickener probably the 404 or 403 . But I don't remember seeing this when cabosil was the thickener...hmm!

The "flames " is probably a mistake, more like the "orgone flash" that was posted in the You tube video by pamelais (how do you pronounce that?). A bit less intense blue though, short but definitely there... whew!

So, this is the extent of my scientific knowledge related to this fact. Looking forward to anyone that would repeat the experiment, only remember: complete darkness, otherwise futility will be the only conclusion!

i see it all the time removing peelply. deep violate blue right along the separation line. occationally when breaking residue out of cups. always wondered but quickly moved on to other things...
