Sail Cleaning

I need to clean my sails before drying and storing them for the winter. There is a product called "30 seconds" which removes mildew and mould (my friend used it on his sails) but I would like to know if anyone else has used it on Dacron without any harmfull side effects.

Thanks for any feedback

It took the stains out really well but I dont know if there will be any long term side effects like the stitching material getting soft or something like that

If the sails don't have excessive stains and need more of a cleaning, just find a friend with a swimming pool, throw them in for a day or two. Get in the shallow end of the pool, beat the sails with your hands to knock the dirt off, pull them out and let them dry.. Any stains will be easier to work on.
