How to disconnect a Garmin xHD cable

A Garmin xHD radar cable is like a regular network Cat6 cable with some hardening.
There is a plastic cover over the regular cable allowing to add extra screw lock and make it more water proof:



The issue is that the cable includes an auto lock notch, and once inserted into the radar socket you can not longer unplug it: With the plastic cover over the cable, you have no more access to push the little notch to free the cable. I am kind of stuck now, and cannot remove the cable for some further installation.

Any hint ?
