Dinged Bow Below Waterline - What to do?

I put a similar 1cm2 hole into my bow just below the waterline a few months back. I filled it with an underwater 2 part epoxy (I always keep a few sticks of this onboard) and it has held in very well for the few months until I haul out (actually tomorrow) for a proper repair. I occasionally dive down (well a quick breath hold!) for an inspection to ensure its all holding together. When you apply the u/w epoxy you need do it ASAP after the damaged has occurred, prior to any build up of marine growth which will impede the bonding.

We have a Lagoon 450 with where the fwd hull is poly resin/epoxy below the WL.

Maybe the photo changes the perspective but it looks as though the rocks or. Post will hit the hull.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm betting/hoping that it is an optical illusion from the go pro but definitely curious about the anchorage bottom

It doesn't look like a strike that has compromised the glass under the paint.
That would be the biggest factor involving a haulout.
You could file or sand it a bit and apply epoxy that allow an underwater cure.
Remember, that the epoxy will adhere to a surface that is scratched up, not a painted one.

Sorry slow to post. Definitely a gelcoat void. I picked off the gelcoat over the hole and it is simply a smooth depression about the size of 1/2 a grape. I put some of the 2 part epoxy stick I had on board into the depression and it has held on to St. Thomas so far.
Regarding the background of the photo, it was taken pierside at T&C shipyard/marina. The basin was essentially cut from the limestone and the background you see is under the dock.
Just thought I'd post a follow-up and thanks to those who contributed.
