Cutting G10

I have learned that G10 eats jigsaw and oscillating saw blades for breakfast.

Any suggestions of blades that are best for cutting and curves in G10? We are using it as a replacement for rotted marine ply around the port holes so we need to be able to cut fairly precision curves to first the ports.

I use a bandsaw with cheap $10 blade. Only do this when you have a new blade at hand; I do notice it becomes duller but it keeps going. I estimate you can do 5 portholes with one blade.

I use a small, 10" Rikon bandsaw.

Carbide is your friend when cutting fiberglass.
Try Rem Grit blades, or conventional blades with carbide teeth.
