Centerboard trunk

I have a FRP dingy that i want to convert to a sailing dingy and not sure how to go about building the centerboard trunk? I was thinking about some sort of material that could be glassed over then removed easily removed like foam?
On my last fiberglass project I used waxed paper to prevent bonding and it did but the paper bonded to the resin and was a pia to remove
all ideas welcome and thanks in advance
OH and would you make the centerboard out of starboard /fiberglass or something else as it will be a drop in and I think it should be flexible in case of grounding

Why not use wax paper, the paper will come off through use and no one is going to see it. If not try UHMW (it is the white stuff you see cutting boards made with). You can also spray the surface you want to use with hair spray, for whatever reason, epoxy won't stick to it.

On a nut shell pram I built 15 years ago I used 1/2" white oak boards encapsulated with 4 oz cloth (two layers) and epoxy. Haven't had a problem with it yet.
