Can I Use any Evaporator as a Replacement ?

I have an Isotherm refrigeration system, and I need to replace the evaporator.

Do you know if I need a specific evaporator to go with that system or whether I can use this Adler Barbor one (which is the right fit physically.) ?

Thanks!

Don't matter who makes it, it only matters that is about the same capacity and refrigerant use. From the info you show on Denfender's site I'd guess it's too small a capacity. but it would probably still work 6 cu fit was what you had it sized for, the new one is for up 3.5 cu ft.

Thanks, that was silly of me - that evaporator is smaller than the one I am replacing.

They are deceiving, size vs capacity don't always to relate that much in hvacr equipment.
