Bow Eye Problem / Question . . .

I've been trying to find the right sized bow eye for my oday 23. I cannot for the life of me, find a bow eye with a 2" spread. Everything i've come across is far to small. Any help is appreciated!

Sometimes if you can't come across what you need in a catalog you can fabricate your own or call places like West Marine or Jamestown Distributors at 800 423-0030 and ask if their suppliers could provide a bolt for your specific use. I see they have quite a selection of stainless u-bolts in their catalog.

Thank you, I ordered another bow eye from WM. It looks to be a fit, I HOPE!

Good luck on finding the exact right size. Seems like the newer ones on the market have a little thinner diameter of rod. Hope yours fits perfectly.

Looks like I ordered it prematurely. It's 3/8" and I need 1/2". I contacted a company called EPCO that makes bow eyes for alot of manufactures. I'll be ordering one from them. I can't believe what a hassle this is, the only thing I can think is that the previous owner installed a really obscure size. I'll still have to modify my holes to accommodate the new standard spread bow eye.
