Filling with epoxy is going to be as much of a pain as filling with gelcoat....plus you will never get an exact color match with epoxy. You will have a bunch of ugly yellow dots.

The best idea is that of the canvasmaker matching the new canvas to the old holes.

Second best, gelcoat.

The third best idea is to use flathead screws with finish washers.
