Yanmar 2GM20F raw water pump

Does anyone have the Johnson pump crossover number for a Yanmar 721575-42702 water pump">raw water pump? I'm looking for the major repair kit and possibly a new spare pump also. I know that it will be a lot cheaper than a Yanmar OEM one. They want around $550 for a new pump!

^^ FWIW, Yanmar uses different water pumps depending on the country of manufacture of the engine, date of manufacture and also the country of sale.

For instance, my current 2GM20 which has serial number beginning with "E" used a different RW pump than my previous 2GM20 that didn't have an "E" serial number. The E stands for Europe and my previous engine was built in Japan.

Even Yanmar dealers get this wrong occasionally. I have ordered parts for the RW pump complete with engine model and serial numbers and received the wrong parts.

Also FWIW, I find buying the lip seal and and bearings from the local bearing shop is way easier and pretty cheap. Just got 2 bearings and a lip seal for another Yanmar RW pump this week for $6 each for the bearing and $3 for the seal. Impellers can be sourced from most decent boat shops.

Of course you got to know the size you need or take the old ones with you
