Do a search on "marine engine mounts" and you will find many types available.

I don't know what motor you have but here is one place some have gotten mounts for thier Gemini 30-B-Three.

Mission Sales and Supply - Metalastik Cushyfloat™ Vibration Isolators

Here is a snippet from a guy named Bob - always a helpful person.
------------------------------------------------------
The motor mounts I used are:

Made by TRELLEBORG

Front alternator end.
Metalastic type Cushyfloat …part number 17/1600-45 price $31.00 each

Rear transmission end.
Metalastic type Cushyfloat …part number 17/1600-55 price $31.00 each

If required, threaded rod assembly.
Height Adjuster Kit …part number?? Did not purchase so will need to call
supplier.

I made my purchases at the link below, whilst talking to them on the phone, very
helpful people.

Re: Westerbeke engine brackets are over 200$ per

It has been awhile since I bought them so I can't remember or find the part # but I have a pair of bronze mounting brackets for a Westerbeke. They are for the Perkins 4107 or 4108 Westerbeke conversions. They wouldn't work for my aplication and they couldn't be returned because they were special ordered. I remember them being over $200 apiece and actualy pretty to look at. If they match yours we can probably work out a price.

Jesse, my block is 4-108 so they would work if they are for 14.5" centers. Could you check if they are front or rear.

Re: Westerbeke engine brackets are over 200$ per

They are rear mounting brackets. We moved back to the mainlnd last year and I'm still trying to sort my tools and boat parts from my wifes treasures but I have a good idea where they are. I'll see if I can dig them out tomorow. If I recall correctly there is a difference between left and right sides and they attach to the bellhousing.

Re: Westerbeke Engine Brackets Are Over 200$ per Bracket

My apologies if I have wasted your time, I can't find the brackets anywhere I've looked. I'll try again tomorow. When they wouldn't work in my aplication I made my own from 3/8 x 2" steel angle. For $20 the metal supplier cut it to dimension for me and my son welded them up, and with a little time and a drillpress they look good and work fine.
Are yours broken? can you use them as a pattern?

Re: Westerbeke Engine Brackets Are Over 200$ per Bracket

I'm trying to visualize what you are faced with, as long as the engine will physicaly fit in its space and line up with the prop shaft without altering any big bits like mounting framework or the like, you've planned it well. The brackets i'm looking for attach to the sides of the bellhousing with the 1/2" mounting bolt hole 2" outward from the bellhousing. I don't know what the center to center dimension would be. I'm having no luck at all finding them so far, if I cant find them in the morning I'll have run out of places to look.

Re: Westerbeke Engine Brackets Are Over 200$ per Bracket

No worries Jesse,
I am gona fabricate what I need out of 3/8" steel.
Engine centers are usually at 14.5", 16" and 18" apart. My stringers are at 14.5" so i need the brackets to protrude so that stud holes for isolation mounts are 14.5" apart.

Re: Westerbeke Engine Brackets Are Over 200$ per Bracket

Sorry about not locating the brackets. I'll probably trip over them next month. The only option left would be to burn down the garage and sift through the ashes.
I did the same swap 12 years ago and the 4108 suits me perfectly, they are simple as a stone axe and reliable as gravity. I hope you enjoy the project and the results as much I did.
