Volvo Penta Injector not sealing

I have just had my injectors serviced (on a Volvo Penta TMD 31B). I put them back in and there's a small amount of bubbling between one of the injectors and the cylinder head when the engine is running.

Apparently there's no injector sealing washer for this engine. The injectors bear directly on the inside base of a copper injector sleeve which is press fitted into the cylinder head. So I just put the injectors back in and wound them down. - I have always been used to replacing an annealed copper washer on the bearing surface of the injector which is squeezed into shape to complete the seal, but not on this one.

Does anyone know of a trick to get the injectors to seal properly in this case?

I had a similar issue with my 2003T. Volvo has a special tool to refinish (burnish?) the sealing surface of the copper insert. Fortunately, a local (La Paz Mexico) mechanic had the tool and was able to do the fix without pulling the head or replacing the insert. There was a thread on this forum on the subject a couple/few years ago.

I use Loctite 518 flange sealant on sealing face of Yanmar injector. Works good.
