Take my word, don't do it! I was stupid enough to believe it would not matter an hooked up my air conditioning water cooling pump with the motor and if you run just one, you are ok but if you run both the March water pump will starve the motor Jabsco pump and burn up the impeller an then overheating the head an blow a head gasket. Now i am getting parts to rework the head an run seperate intakes and discharge lines to eleminate this problem ever again. Been there and done that thinking i had it with room to spare but i did not. You can do as you like but i would give each it's on supply and put in a oversize strainer with a plastic strainer rather than metal as it goes away in time. JMHO have a good one

What size through hull did you have and was the tee well below the waterline?
