Serpentine belt conversion for Universal Diesel

When I purchased my 1981 Sea Sprite last year I noticed a fine black dust on the engine which I quickly discovered was the result of the fact that the engine was digesting belts on a regular basis.

I believe the cause is an aftermarket alternator which is a high amp Balmar being driven by a small V-belt.

Does anyone know where I can find serpentine pulleys for this engine and alternator?

I have a Universal Model 5424, a 68 cu in, 24 hp, 3 cylinder, based on the Kubota D-1101 block, built from 1977 to 1983.

Don't Forget to Inspect the Pulleys....
Are they the same Pitch Groove? ( the angle of the "v").....That is a common reason for eating belts..... Also the wrong width belt. Too wide, the belt will not seat in the groove. Too narrow the belt will fit too snug at the bottom of the groove.
Also Misalgnment of the brackets that mount the Alternator.
Just from personal observation.....you never know what an amature "expert" has done..that a professional should have.
