Maybe you could just have it welded braised, what ever. Machine shop?

Many Thank's for all the suggestion's.After many on's and off's trying to modify a groco flange adaptor I,filed some treads on top of the thru hull fiting was able to capture 4 plus treads on the Street l.I,put the thru hull in secured it with the thru hull nut the L went on and thru some carefull shortning on the thru hull the L tightened down on the nut so support is there,Hope I,never have to take it out but at least now it is the proper size.

I would match it with the hose fitting on your raw water strainer; ie; if the hose fitting is for a 3/4" hose, then mate the sea cock size wize to it.
