Proper Coolant Bleeding ?

i had a hose clamp break, and needed to add coolant. i've been overheating
since this has happened. raw water flow seems fine. i've opened the coolant
bleed valve, but it only trickles out when hot. i have the universal m18 with
water heater. anyone see this issue before or have suggestions?

Re: Proper Coolant Bleeding ?

the bleed valve did not really help, however, running the engine at temp for 30 secs at 3k rpms did the trick.
