Perkins 4.108 Oil Pressure Sender Unit

Hi Everyone,
My oil pressure sender unit for the lamp, buzzer is faulty on my Formosa 41 with a Perkins 4.108 engine. The pressure gauge sender unit is still working fine.
Does anyone there know the thread size of the sender unit?
I'm assuming it's 1/8 or 1/4 inch BSP seeing it's an english made engine?

For anyone that's interested I'm the person who put the post out a few weeks ago about the injector pump problem I was having.
It turned out that I had the the saddles that hold the rollers inside pump cam ring back to front. I swaped them around myself and put the pump and injectors back on and the engine is running good now.
So, you can overhaul the injector pumps yourself in your garage as long as you are somewhat competant.

Back to the question:

Has anyone fitted aftermarket oil pressure sendors to a Perkins 4.108 at all?

I'm from Australia so I reckon a GM or Ford part might fit?

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers

Alan

I think I used a auto parts store for mine. They are the same unit. I even have a spare if I could find it. Cost about 2 USD. I hate the units anyway, and as soon as I get my boat out of charter it (the sender) is going in the trash. I always look at the oil pressure gauge.
